Wei-Kan Chu

Wei-Kan Chu is an American physicist and expert in ion beam interaction with solids, serving as the Cullen University Professor and distinguished university professor at the University of Houston, and an elected Fellow of the American Physical Society.[1][2] He graduated from National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan in 1962 and earned his PhD from Baylor University in 1969.[1] Chu has held prominent positions including Robert A. Welch Professor and has received NCKU's distinguished alumni award in 1998.[1][5]
