Wayne A. Wiegand
Wayne A. Wiegand is a renowned American library historian known as the 'dean of American library historians.'[1] He served as the F. William Summers Professor of Library and Information Studies and Professor of American Studies emeritus at Florida State University, and previously taught at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1987 to 2002.[1] He is the author of 'Part of Our Lives: A People's History of the American Public Library' (2015), which examines libraries as vital community institutions.[4]
