Wayne A. Wickelgren

Wayne Allen Wickelgren was an American psychologist and cognitive scientist known for his work on memory, learning, problem solving, and cognitive psychology. He taught at the University of Oregon and later served as a research scientist at Columbia University; he also authored several books, including *How to Solve Problems* and *Learning and Memory*.
