Waterloo Maple Incorporated
Waterloo Maple Incorporated (also known as Maplesoft) is a Canadian software company headquartered in Waterloo, Ontario, best known for developing the Maple computer algebra system and MapleSim physical modeling software. The company was founded in 1984 by Keith Geddes, Gaston Gonnet, and Derek Corneil at the University of Waterloo and was later acquired by Cybernet Systems in 2009. It continues to provide engineering, science, and mathematics software tools to customers worldwide.
