Washington Gladden

Washington Gladden (1836–1918) was an American Congregational minister, journalist, author, and one of the early leaders of the Social Gospel movement. He was also a prominent Progressive reformer who advocated for workers’ rights, racial justice, and social reform in Columbus, Ohio.[1][4]
