Warshaw Collection of Business Americ

Isadore Warshaw (1900-1969) was a New York bookseller and rare books dealer who assembled the Warshaw Collection of Business Americana over nearly fifty years. Believing American history was tied to business history, he collected ephemera from circa 1708-1977 when companies discarded their records, opening an office in Albany to make it available to businesses. He donated the collection to the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History in 1965.
