Warren Murphy

Warren Murphy (1933-2015) was an author best known for his Destroyer novels, largely co-written with Richard Sapir, which spawned the theatrical movie Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins and a television sequel. He had a diverse career working as a reporter, editor, and in various other roles before becoming a prolific writer with sales of 50 million copies and numerous national awards including two Edgars from the Mystery Writers of America.
