Walter Montagu Kerr
Walter Montagu Kerr was a British civil engineer and author born in June 1852 to Lord Charles Lennox Kerr and Charlotte Emma Hanmer. He is best known for his 1886 book 'The Far Interior: A Narrative of Travel and Adventure from the Cape of Good Hope across the Zambesi to the Lake Regions of Central Africa,' detailing his travels in South Africa and Central Africa. He died unmarried on 23 April 1888 at the age of 35.
