Walter G. Englert

Walter G. Englert is a Professor Emeritus of Classical Studies at Reed College, where he has taught since 1981, specializing in Greek and Latin literature and ancient philosophy. He holds the Omar and Althea Hoskins Professorship and teaches courses from beginning to advanced levels in Greek. Englert is a scholar of classical antiquity with a focus on ancient Mediterranean studies.
