W. Jeffrey Tatum

W. Jeffrey Tatum is a Professor of Classics at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand, where he joined the faculty in 2010 after teaching at Florida State University, having earned his PhD from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a scholar of Roman republican history and a Fellow of the Royal Society of New Zealand. His notable works include 'Always I Am Caesar,' 'A Noble Ruin: Mark Antony, Civil War, and the Collapse of the Roman Republic' (Oxford 2024), and co-authored 'A History of Latin Literature from its Beginnings to the Age of Augustus' (Cambridge 2024).
