W. E. H. Stanner

W. E. H. Stanner (William Edward Hanley Stanner) was an Australian anthropologist and public intellectual whose work helped shape Australian anthropology and Aboriginal studies. He was influential in advancing recognition of Aboriginal rights and played a key role in institutions such as the Australian Institute of Aboriginal Studies and Aboriginal affairs more broadly.
