W C Ferguson
Charles W. Ferguson was an influential American writer and editor born in 1901 in Quanah, Texas, son of a minister, who graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1923. He began as a Methodist minister but shifted to publishing, serving as associate editor of Bookman, president of Round Table Press, and senior editor at Reader's Digest from 1934 to 1968, while authoring books on religious themes and teaching at universities until his death in 1987 in Ossining, New York.
