W Brewer

William Brewer is an American poet and novelist born and raised in West Virginia. He is the author of the poetry collection I Know Your Kind (Milkweed Editions, 2017), winner of the National Poetry Series, and the debut novel The Red Arrow (Knopf, 2022), which received the Silver Medal for First Fiction from the California Book Awards. A former Stegner Fellow, he is a Jones Lecturer at Stanford University and lives in Oakland, California.
