Vonda N McIntyre

Vonda N. McIntyre (1948-2019) was an American science fiction author, biologist, and geneticist best known for her Hugo and Nebula Award-winning novel Dreamsnake and works like 'Of Mist, and Grass, and Sand'. She founded the Clarion West Writers Workshop in 1971, wrote Star Trek and Star Wars tie-in novels, and was a founding member of Book View Cafe. Her final novel, Curve of the World, was completed shortly before her death from pancreatic cancer.
