Vladka Meed

Vladka Meed, born Feigele Peltel in Warsaw, Poland, was a Holocaust survivor and key figure in the Warsaw Ghetto resistance, using her Aryan appearance and fluent Polish to smuggle arms, aid Jews in hiding, and support the Jewish Fighting Organization (ZOB).[1][2][3] After the war, she married Benjamin Meed, published her memoir 'On Both Sides of the Wall' in 1948, and co-founded organizations like the Warsaw Ghetto Resistance Organization and the American Gathering of Jewish Holocaust Survivors to educate about the Holocaust.[1][3][5]
