Vladimir Rybakov

Vladimir Rybakov is a Russian writer whose real name is Szescinski, adopted as a pseudonym due to his Polish father from the Gdansk region and Russian mother of partial Romani heritage. His novels include The Burden (1986), The Brand (1986), and Creature: A French Russian Thriller (2005). He is also known for his contributions to Granta magazine, including work on autobiography.
