Vivian French
Vivian June Isoult French MBE (born 1945) is a prolific British author who has written over 250 books for children and young adults, including picture books like Oliver's Vegetables (1995), the Tiara Club series, and Tales from the Five Kingdoms. Born in Husborne Crawley, Bedfordshire, she has worked as an actor, playwright, storyteller, and counselor, and now lives in Bristol. In 2016, she was awarded an MBE for services to literature, literacy, illustration, and the arts.
