Vivette Samuel

Vivette Samuel, born Vivette Salomé Hermann in 1919 in Paris, was a French Jewish social worker, Resistance fighter during World War II, and director of the Œuvre de secours aux enfants (OSE) from 1979 to 1985[1][2]. She died on July 16, 2006, in Paris at the age of 88[2][3]. She is primarily known for her humanitarian work rather than as a published author.
