Virginia Loh - Hagan

Dr. Virginia Loh-Hagan is a multi-published author, educator, and researcher who specializes in children's and young adult literature, particularly focusing on the Asian-American experience. She holds an EdD in education with a special emphasis on literacy and serves as a Lecturer in the School of Teacher Education at San Diego State University, where she directs the Liberal Studies program and prepares future teachers. She is the 2016 recipient of the California Reading Association's Marcus Foster Memorial Award for outstanding achievement in reading.
