Virendra N. Sehgal

Prof. Virendra Nath Sehgal was a distinguished Indian dermatologist, graduating from Government Medical College, Amritsar, and completing his postgraduate training in dermatology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. His academic career included appointments at Banaras Hindu University and Aligarh Muslim University in the mid-1960s, and he later served as Director-Professor, Principal, and Medical Superintendent at Sehgal Nursing Home. He authored key works such as 'Textbook of Clinical Dermatology' and contributed significantly to dermatologic surgery and dermoscopy.[1][2][3][5][6]
