Vincent Cannato

Vincent J. Cannato is an associate professor of history at the University of Massachusetts Boston, where he teaches courses on twentieth-century American history, urban history, immigration history, and New York City history. He is the author of works including *The History of Ellis Island* and *The Ungovernable City: John Lindsay and His Struggle to Save New York*.[1][2][4][5]
