Victoria Purcell-Gates

Victoria Purcell-Gates is an internationally recognized researcher and professor in literacy education, known for studying how literacy is practiced across different cultural settings and how those practices affect learning and instruction. She held the Canada Research Chair in Early Childhood Literacy at the University of British Columbia and has published widely on literacy development and social practice.
