Victoria Kann
Victoria Kann is an award-winning author and illustrator born in New York City, best known for creating the Pinkalicious picture book series, which originated as an April Fools' joke about her daughter turning pink from eating too many cupcakes.[1][2][3][6] She graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design and currently lives and works in Westport, Connecticut, drawing inspiration from her daughters' love of pink, princesses, and imaginative play.[1][2] Kann has also co-authored books like Purplicious, contributed to the Pinkalicious musical and PBS cartoon adaptation, and received numerous design awards.[1][3][6]
