Victor Sebestyen
Victor Sebestyen is a Hungarian-born British journalist, historian, and author specializing in Eastern Europe, Russia, and communism. Born in Budapest in 1956, he worked as a journalist for British newspapers including The Times, Daily Mail, and London Evening Standard, where he served as foreign editor, and contributed to American publications like The New York Times.[1][2][3] His notable books include Twelve Days: The Story of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution, Revolution 1989: The Fall of the Soviet Empire, 1946: The Making of the Modern World, Lenin the Dictator, The Russian Revolution, and Budapest: Between East and West.[1][2][7]
