Victor R. Preedy is a Professor of Clinical Biochemistry at King's College Hospital and Emeritus Professor of Nutritional Biochemistry at King's College London.[1][2] He graduated in 1974 with an Honours Degree in Biology and Physiology with Pharmacology and obtained his University of London PhD in 1981.[2] His research focuses on adverse effects of alcohol on muscle metabolism and biomarkers in disease, with extensive publications in nutritional biochemistry and bioactive food interventions.[3][6]
