Vicki Cobb
Vicki Cobb was an American children's author and science educator who published over 100 nonfiction books, beginning with 'Science Experiments You Can Eat' in 1972. Known as the 'Julia Child' of hands-on science, she held degrees in zoology from Barnard College and a Master's degree in secondary science education from Columbia University Teachers College. She was also a pioneer in cable television, hosting 'The Science Game' in the early 1970s.
