Veronica Roth

Veronica Roth (born August 19, 1988) is an American novelist best known for her #1 New York Times bestselling Divergent trilogy, a young adult dystopian science-fiction series set in a post-apocalyptic Chicago that has sold over 35 million copies worldwide[1][2]. Raised primarily in Barrington, Illinois, after her parents' divorce, she graduated from Northwestern University with a creative writing degree and lives in Chicago[2][4][6]. Her other notable works include the Carve the Mark duology, Chosen Ones, Poster Girl, and When Among Crows[4][5].
