Valens Acidalius

Valens Acidalius (also known as Havekenthal) was a German humanist, critic, and Latin-language poet born in 1567 in Wittstock and died in 1595 in Neisse. He is also associated with the satirical Latin treatise *Disputatio nova contra mulieres*, which was later attributed to him.[1][3][5]
