Vahe Peroomian

Vahé Peroomian is an Armenian-American physicist, professor of physics and astronomy at USC, and author known for his books of essays and photographs including *A Photographic Journey of my Homeland, Armenia* (2014) and *Ode to the Eastern Sierra* (2022). Born in Oakland, California, to parents from Iran, he lived in Iran until 1978 before returning to Los Angeles, where he earned his Ph.D. in Physics from UCLA in 1994 and has pursued a career in space plasma physics, space weather research, and education.[1][3][5]
