V. Cristofalo Vincent J. Cristofalo

Vincent Joseph Cristofalo (1933–2006) was an American cell biologist renowned for his expertise in cellular aging. Born in Philadelphia, he earned his undergraduate degree from St. Joseph's College, a master's from Temple University, and a PhD in physiology and biochemistry from the University of Delaware in 1962. He founded the Center for the Study of Aging at the University of Pennsylvania, now the Institute on Aging, and served as a professor emeritus of biochemistry.[1][3][4]
