Ungyu Paik

Ungyu Paik is a distinguished professor in the Department of Energy Engineering at Hanyang University in South Korea, specializing in materials for advanced Li-ion batteries and next-generation energy storage systems. He earned his Ph.D. in Ceramic Engineering from Clemson University in 1991, previously served as Associate Professor at Changwon National University (1992-1999), and was Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy of South Korea from 2017 to 2018. He has published over 400 papers with an h-index exceeding 70 and holds over 200 patents.
