Ulrike Stamm
Ulrike Stamm is a German literary scholar and Privatdozentin (PD Dr.) at the Institut für deutsche Literatur, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. She studied Germanistik, Anglistik, and Philosophy from 1979 to 1987 at the Universities of Freiburg, Nottingham, and FU Berlin, and earned her PhD in 1994 at FU Berlin with a dissertation on Hugo von Hofmannsthal and Walter Pater. Currently, she is working on her habilitation at HU Berlin on 19th-century Orientalism, drawing on gender studies and postcolonial theory.[3][4][2]
