Ulrike Groos
Ulrike Groos, born in 1963 in Schlüchtern, Germany, is a German art historian, curator, and museum director who studied art history, musicology, and ethnology at the universities of Würzburg, New York, and Münster, earning her PhD in 1994 on 'Ars Musica in Venice in the 16th Century'. She held positions such as project leader for Manifesta 2 in 1997-1998, director of Kunsthalle Düsseldorf from 2002 to 2009, and has been director of Kunstmuseum Stuttgart since 2010, also overseeing Museum Haus Dix.[1][2][3][4]
