Tsai Tsi Chung
Tsai Chih-chung (also known as C.C. Tsai or Cai Zhizhong) is a renowned Taiwanese comic book artist, animator, and cartoonist born in 1948 in Changhua, Taiwan. Starting his career at age 15 as a comics assistant, he gained international fame for his illustrated adaptations of classical Chinese texts, including Taoist and Buddhist philosophies like 'Zhuangzi Speaks' and the 'Dao De Jing' series, making ancient wisdom accessible through engaging visuals. His works have been translated into over 20 languages, sold in more than 40 countries, and earned him significant royalties, establishing him as one of Taiwan's most successful cartoonists.
