Trudy Mcnair
Trudy E. McNair, a baby boomer, grew up in the 1950s and 1960s in Chicago, Illinois, before her family moved to Texas after high school.[1] She earned her undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas and graduate degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and Rice University, focusing on history and literature.[1] Her works include children's books like Atwater the Elephant and Klara’s Trip to Amsterdam, as well as historical texts such as The Victorian Age and the Origins of Christmas Traditions, History of Art and Civilization: The Asian World, and others like Maddie's Faded Summer Dreams and Noriko's World.[1][2][5]
