Trudi Strain Trueit
Trudi Strain Trueit is an American author of children's books known for her fiction and nonfiction titles, including the EXPLORER ACADEMY series for National Geographic. She earned a B.A. from Pacific Lutheran University and worked as a television news reporter and weather forecaster before publishing her first book contract with Scholastic Library Press in 2002. She has since published more than 100 titles for young readers.
