Troy Stetina

Troy Stetina is an American guitarist, composer, producer, and renowned music educator who has authored over 50 rock, metal, and shred guitar instructional books and videos, selling more than 1 million copies worldwide, including the bestselling 'Speed Mechanics for Lead Guitar.'[1][3] Formerly the director of Rock Guitar Studies at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music and a writer for Guitar One magazine, he now teaches independently through the Troy Stetina Music Academy launched in 2025 and has performed with bands like Second Soul.[1][2][3] Beyond music, he runs ChaiDirect.com with his wife and has released projects like the 2021 EP 'Through the Hall of Mirrors.'[1][3]
