Trisha Speed Shaskan

Trisha Speed Shaskan is a children's book author who has written 50 books, including picture books like Punk Skunks and The Itty-Bitty Witch. She holds an MFA in creative writing from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and has taught creative writing classes for over 20 years to students from kindergarten through graduate school. She lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with her husband Stephen Shaskan, who is also a children's book author and illustrator.
