John Pell Coster Train was an American investment advisor and writer, best known as a founding editor of The Paris Review. He founded the Train Foundation, which awards the Civil Courage Prize annually since 2000, and authored about 25 books and hundreds of columns in publications like The Wall Street Journal and Forbes.
