Tracey Corderoy

Tracey Corderoy, born April 12, 1965, in Neath, West Glamorgan, Wales, is a British children's author who grew up in industrial South Wales and trained as a primary school teacher at Bath Spa University before becoming a full-time writer in 2010. She has published over 70 books for children aged 3 to 11, working with publishers like Little Tiger Press and Nosy Crow, and now lives in a hidden valley in Gloucestershire or the Cotswolds with her family and pets. Her works include popular series like Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam, and she is known for her award-winning picture books and stories that inspire young readers.
