Toshikazu Kawaguchi

Toshikazu Kawaguchi is a Japanese playwright, director, producer, and author born in Osaka in 1971. He formerly worked with the theatrical group Sonic Snail, creating plays such as COUPLE, Sunset Song, and Family Time, with his play Before the Coffee Gets Cold winning the grand prize at the Suginami Drama Festival. His debut novel adaptation of the same name became an international bestseller, spawning a series including Tales From the Cafe and Before Your Memory Fades.
