Tony Schwartz is an American journalist and author best known for ghostwriting the 1987 book Trump: The Art of the Deal, credited to Donald Trump.[1][2] He conducted extensive interviews with Trump but later stated that Trump wrote none of the book and expressed regret over its creation.[1][4] Schwartz has described Trump critically in later years, calling him a sociopath and suggesting the book be recategorized as fiction.[2][5]
