Tony Morgan

Tony Morgan (1938–2004) was a British artist known for his work as a painter, sculptor, multimedia artist, and performance artist. He became a leading experimental filmmaker in Düsseldorf during the late 1960s, representing the new German avant-garde alongside figures like Joseph Beuys and Gerhard Richter. Later, he discovered his female alter-ego Herman and shifted to recording personal, often painful performances directly to camera.
