Tony Judt
Tony Judt was an English historian, essayist, and professor who specialized in modern European history. He taught at Cambridge, Oxford, Berkeley, and New York University, where he founded and directed the Remarque Institute. He is best known for books such as "Postwar: A History of Europe Since 1945" and for his widely read essays on European and political affairs.
