Toni Huber
Toni Huber, also known as Prof. Dr. Antoni Huber, is a prominent scholar in Tibetan Studies, serving as Professor Emeritus at Humboldt University in Berlin since 2003. His research focuses on the ethnography, cultural history, environment, society, ritual, religion, and nomadic pastoralism of Tibetan Plateau and eastern Himalayan societies, with extensive field research since 1986 across Central Tibet, Amdo, and other regions. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Canterbury in 1993 and has authored major works like 'Source of Life: Revitalisation Rites and Bon Shamans in Bhutan and the Eastern Himalayas.'
