Tom LaPadula
Tom La Padula is an accomplished illustrator, author, and educator known for his work in national and international magazines, advertising agencies, publishing houses, and children's books, with a specialty in aviation art. A graduate of Parsons School of Design (BFA) and Syracuse University (MFA), he has taught at Pratt Institute since 1986 as Illustration Coordinator in the Communications/Design program and is a founding member of the History of Illustration Project. His art has been exhibited widely and is held in private collections, and he has given talks on illustration history across the country.
