Tom Doig

Tom Doig (born 17 April 1979 in Wellington) is a New Zealand-Australian creative non-fiction author, investigative journalist, editor, and lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Queensland.[1][2] He has authored books including Moron to Moron (2013), The Coal Face (2015, co-winner of the Oral History Victoria Award), and Hazelwood (2020), and received the 2023 CLNZ-NZSA Writers’ Award.[1][2][3] He holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne and is based in Brisbane, Queensland.[1][2]
