Todd D. Snyder

Todd D. Snyder is an eclectic scholar and author specializing in working-class masculinity, Appalachian culture, hip-hop rhetoric, and sports journalism. He has published four books, including 'The Rhetoric of Appalachian Identity' and '12 Rounds in Lo’s Gym: Boxing and Manhood in Appalachia,' and serves as a faculty member at Siena College since 2011. His research highlights perspectives often relegated to the margins of history, drawing from fields such as rhetoric, community literacy, and hip-hop studies.
