Timothy J. Wiles

Timothy J. Wiles, known as Tim Wiles, was a gentle, soft-spoken, brilliant, and caring professor in the English department, valued by colleagues across campus. He grew up in Peoria, Illinois, with his brothers, as the son of an accountant father and a piano-playing mother, developing a lifelong love for books. Wiles was actively involved in community efforts, such as advocating for the Guilderland library.
