Tim McCaskell

Tim McCaskell is a Canadian writer, educator, and activist known for his decades of involvement in gay rights, HIV/AIDS advocacy, and anti-apartheid movements in Toronto from 1974 to 2014. He authored 'Queer Progress: From Homophobia to Homonationalism,' which chronicles the history of LGBTQ activism in Canada and its intersection with shifting economic models, and was a founding member of AIDS ACTION NOW! and a collective member of The Body Politic.
